Joins us for a unique leadership development experience….
Our program transforms your high potential leaders from functional managers to high performing leaders!
“Creating competitive advantage to meet the ever increasing challenges of globalization requires that corporations engage in a strong and focused talent development. We must focus on the hidden talent that exists in our corporations, especially the talent of women and minorities who will continue to make up the majority of our workforce. IMPACT’s Moving Up Management Intensive©) leadership intensive program for women and minorities is exactly the type of focused strategy we need to tap into and develop high potential leaders.” Walter Lee, President, Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce
Moving Up Management Intensive (MUMI)© is a unique, in-depth approach to leadership development which creates an environment that provides minorities and women with the skills and competencies and learning experience required for senior management positions. The program explores effective decision-making processes, power and influence, altering behaviors, recasting mindsets, organizational change, personal negotiation styles, and investing in and managing relationships for greater impact.
A strategic self-development exercise, this course will prepare your managers for current and increased leadership responsibilities by examining themselves as leaders. They will participate in simulations, give and receive feedback, and study leadership moments…..moments that challenged leadership, theirs and others.
Our Leadership Intensive Program
- Supports organizations who want to maintain a competitive edge
- Supports organizations who create developmental opportunities for all high potential women and minorities
- Is a resource that helps organizations with succession planning
- Focuses on accountability and execution
- Provides real-time learning that can be immediately transferred to current work situations
Experiential learning: We don’t teach leadership. We model what we are trying to accomplish through our program.
Real-Time, Real-World Learning: Effective development programs focus on addressing real-time issues in the organization. We ensure that our participants engage in activities that provide immediate growth and added value to their respective leadership teams.
An On-Going Process: Developing high potentials is not a single event but an on-going process. Our one on one coaching and follow-up to discuss progress and challenges are central to our program.
A Holistic Process: Participants’ supervisors are involved from day one of this program and throughout using competency assessments and coaching sessions for supervisors. Business and community leaders present their view of the leadership process and what is needed to be a successful leader
Personal Challenge: Change results from challenge. MUMI challenges participants to develop the more subjective and individualistic abilities – the power to inspire, invent, influence, inform, courage, tolerance for ambiguity, the ability to make teams work, and flexibility.
